A big thank you to all the staff. I am glad I was able to access the service, I just wish I had found it before.
This has been some of the best wellbeing support I've ever had. All the recovery workers are awesome people and I feel very grateful to have met you.

Service Description and Role Outline
The Bridge is an innovative out of hours service, open 365 days a year offering an alternative to emergency department admissions for people in Lewisham who are in crisis, The Bridge is based at 999 Club in Deptford and offers a safe, welcoming space in which individuals can access time-limited, recovery focused help and support when they feel unable to cope mentally or emotionally.
Working as part of a team in the role of Recovery Worker, you will be offering assessments, and triage to clients referred by our partners who include 111, and the SLaM Crisis Line. You will codesign and deliver brief interventions supporting clients to refresh or develop coping mechanisms whilst linking them into other relevant community resources.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team delivering psychologically informed interventions that support people to re-learn, practise or develop the skills they need and recognise the strengths they already have. You ll manage a caseload, working with people 1:1 and in workshops to help build their resilience, better manage their self-care and design their own wellness toolkit.
The overall aim at Bridge is to empower people so that when they graduate, they have the tools to cope more confidently in difficult times and avoid having to resort to the emergency department.
