About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our finance team on a temporary basis for 4 months. This role is crucial in managing and maintaining outstanding debtor accounts, ensuring timely collections, and providing essential support to our finance department.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the collection and maintenance of outstanding debtor accounts.
• Reconcile customer accounts and address any queries.
• Chase overdue invoices via telephone and email.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Provide information for weekly reporting to the Ledger Manager.
• Handle customer telephone enquiries and complete invoice queries promptly.
• Conduct daily debt recovery activities, including sending emails and maintaining accurate records.
• Issue statements and follow up on emails as required.
• Manage queries in the credit control mailbox.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Credit Control.
• Background in managing major accounts.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and telephone skills.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
