Salary:£28,000 per annum (Full-Time Equivalent)Job Type: Temporary (4 months)
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our finance team on a temporary basis for 4 months. This role is crucial in managing and maintaining outstanding debtor accounts, ensuring timely collections, and providing essential support to our finance department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the collection and maintenance of outstanding debtor accounts.
- Reconcile customer accounts and address any queries.
- Chase overdue invoices via telephone and email.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Provide information for weekly reporting to the Ledger Manager.
- Handle customer telephone enquiries and complete invoice queries promptly.
- Conduct daily debt recovery activities, including sending emails and maintaining accurate records.
- Issue statements and follow up on emails as required.
- Manage queries in the credit control mailbox.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Credit Control.
- Background in managing major accounts.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and telephone skills.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
