2nd Line Technician - IT Talent

We are seeking a highly skilled 2nd Line Support Technician to join a dynamic and expanding team. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse technical projects while providing top-level support to business clients.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Setting up and supporting small and medium-sized business networks, both remotely and on-site
  • Installing and maintaining computer systems and hardware
  • Managing Office 365 installations, migrations, and support
  • Setting up and managing email accounts, DNS, and customer applications
  • Providing technical support for Microsoft Exchange and IP phone systems
  • Taking on technical lead responsibilities and helping shape clients' long-term IT strategies
Key Technical Skills:
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with installing and configuring routers, firewalls, and VPNs
  • Proficient in Acronis backup setups and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of network switches and server alerts
  • Active Directory and Azure AD implementation
  • Experience with Office 365 migration and SharePoint deployment
  • Understanding of public Wi-Fi, NAS drives, UPS, and Microsoft Intune
  • Familiarity with monitoring alerts and IT project completion
Preferred Skills:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience supporting business networks
  • Experience working in an outsourced IT or MSP environment
  • Full UK driving licence
