Aspire People are seeking an experienced Year 6 Teacher to join a fantastic primary school in Leamington Spa, starting after the October half term. This full-time position is an exciting opportunity to guide pupils through their final year of primary education, including preparing them for their SATs assessments.Key Responsibilities:Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the Year 6 curriculum.Plan, prepare, and mark work to ensure progress and high standards.Prepare pupils for SATs assessments, ensuring they are confident and well-prepared.Monitor and assess pupils' progress, providing feedback and support as needed.Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the school's wider community.Follow the school's safeguarding policies and procedures.Requirements:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.Minimum 2 years' experience teaching Year 6 in the UK.Experience with SATs preparation and assessment.Must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures.Excellent classroom management and communication skills.Interviews are happening now with Ellie from Aspire People.
