Part Time Year 2 Teacher needed for Wirral Primary School. Starting January 2025.

Hays Education are working with a Wirral based primary school to recruit a Year 2 class teacher from January 2025.

This primary teaching job is part time, working Wednesday pm, Thursday all day and Friday all. The role is for 2 terms, January - July.

Your new role
Working as part of a job share team, you will be responsible for teaching a Year 2 class for the end of the week. Planning will be shared, and you will be responsible for delivering sessions and assessing students in a mixed ability class across Wednesday afternoon, Thursday and Friday full days.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in securing this Year 2 class teaching job you will need:

• QTS
• Experience of teaching in a KS1 class that we can reference in the last 2 years
• Ability to be able to work as part of a team and communicate about planning and children's progress during your part of the week
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to quickly build effective relationships with students, parents and colleagues
