Windows System Engineer (German Speaking)

We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for a Windows System Engineer. The role is permanent position based in Zurich Canton & comes with some home office allowance.

Your role:

• Hold responsibility for IT Infrastructure design, implementation & maintenance to ensure optimal performance, security & scalability.
• Manage Client Support, Server Support & Maintenance.

Your Skills & Experience:

• At least 5+ years of professional experience in IT Systems/Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong expertise in Windows System Engineering, Windows Server & Client administration, Active Directory & Group Policy.
• Skilled in Azure AD & Microsoft 365.
• Sound experience in Citrix Virtual Desktops, VMWare Virtualization, Storage Solutions & Administration & Veeam Backup & Disaster recovery solutions.
• Experienced in Network Firewalls, Routing & Switching.
• Ideally experienced in the Financial Services/Banking Sectors.

Your Profile:

• Completed University Degree in the area Computer Science or Similar.
• Strong communication, collaboration & problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, analytical, detailed, organized & a team-player.
• Continuously enthusiastic to learn & further develop.
• Able to occasionally partake in business trips to foreign branches.
• Fluent in English (spoken & written) & a good command of German (to at least B2 level) are mandatory requirements.
