Voyage Accounting Administrator - Vroon B.V. - Breda

Salary indication: between €40.000 - €45.000 a year (Full time)

As Voyage Accounting Administrator you form part of a team administering the accounts for several Companies. You will work closely with other team members, looking after the net revenue position (Revenue and Voyage related expenses). You play a crucial role in financial administration and work closely with colleagues in finance and operations. You will be responsible for the financial processing and control of voyage-related costs and revenues for our vessels. You are the key link between the financial accounting team and the operational team, ensuring smooth communication and accurate financial reporting. In this role, you will gain experience working with different cultures, making it a dynamic and internationally oriented position. The Voyage Accounting Department provides support to the Company's Management Companies and shore-based employees worldwide. In this position, you report to the Financial Controller.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Processing financial and accounting transactions;
• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date and useable information in our system;
• Processing and verifying voyage-related costs and revenues;
• As part of monthly closing procedures, preparing and analysing voyage results;
• Identifying discrepancies and providing improvement recommendations;
• Maintaining communication with internal departments and external stakeholders;
• Resolving any problems that may occur.

Education & Personal Skills:

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance;
• Between 1-3 years of experience in data-entry work in an Accounts Payable environment;
• Good knowledge of financial systems;
• Professional fluency in Dutch and English;
• Experience with ERP systems, such as Microsoft AX Dynamics, would be an advantage;
• Key competencies: An analytical and problem-solving team player with an attention to detail, planning and organization;
• Previous experience in an accounting role would be considered an advantage.
