About the Organisation

Our client helps hospitals do more through grants, arts, volunteering, and fundraising.

They are now looking for a Volunteering Manager to join them on a full-time, permanent basis, working 35 hours per week.

The Role

As a Volunteering Manager, you will lead and inspire volunteer programmes, ensuring they provide mutual benefit to volunteers and beneficiaries.

You will inspire hospital staff and lead teams of volunteers from the local community to contribute meaningfully to hospitals.

Building effective partnerships across the wider healthcare sector and local communities, you will design and develop volunteering opportunities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality operations and safe, engaging environments for volunteers.

Additionally, you will:

- Lead the recruitment and management of volunteers to grow the volunteering community

- Oversee the charity's on-site presence and emergency action plans

- Provide line management to the Volunteer Officer

About You

To be considered as a Volunteering Manager, you will need:

- Experience of working with volunteers and managing volunteer programmes

- Experience of managing multiple projects to a high quality and delivering intended outcomes

- Experience managing relationships across complex organisations

- Experience of charities and/or health-related organisations

- Knowledge of delivering health improvement or community health equity programmes

- Evidence of continuous professional development
