We are currently looking for a dynamic individual to join our Development Practice as a VBA Developer, delivering key projects across our Front Office change team. As a VBA Developer Embedded into the project team, this role involves implementing the Loans IQ platform by integrating a central repository, OVS, Microsoft Access, and VB.NET, and ensuring the automation of data input into OVS.

The Role

• Develop, maintain, and optimize solutions using VBA and VB.NET, adhering to solid design principles.

• Design and implement automation for a central repository (OVS) to connect manual input, Microsoft Access, and VB.NET systems.

• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and document user requirements.

• Optimize application performance and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.

• Develop workflows, automate processes, and support data migration to OVS.

• Build and maintain Front End interfaces and workflows where applicable.

• Collaborate with project management and third-party vendors to define delivery schedules and validate updates.

• Develop and execute testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT phases.

• Ensure seamless integration of new application processes into the production environment.

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with technology risk, analytics, and Front Office teams.

Key Skills and Experience

• Over 6 years of experience or an extremely strong profile in VBA and VB.NET development.

• Hands-on experience with full-stack development using VBA, VB.NET, and Microsoft Access.

• Strong understanding of design principles and automation processes.

• Expertise in integrating with various databases and experience supporting data migrations.

• Proven ability to design, develop, and deploy automated solutions.

• Familiarity with creating workflows and interfaces using Microsoft Access and VB.NET.

• Proven ability to collaborate with business and IT stakeholders.

• Strong business analysis and project life cycle knowledge.

• Experience defining and structuring test plans and leading UAT phases.

• Solid communication skills - both written and oral.
