As part of the Global Business Consulting organization, the outsource practice line is one of the fastest growing organizations within that group. Aiming to provide value by executing strategic and operational travel management on behalf of our clients. The Travel Program Specialist (TPS) will be responsible for providing extensive travel operational and stakeholder management from within the client's organization.
The TPS is responsible for the day-to-day execution of the client's travel program and related projects. The TPS is embedded within the client network and organization to support the travel program KPIs.
What you'll Do on a Typical Day:
Program Support
Support Travel Operations and Stakeholder Management within the client environment.
Manage escalations and travel program inquiries across the end-to-end travel program, e.g. (policy, expense, preferred supplier program, insurance etc.)
Provide ongoing updates on reported issues as needed to ensure understanding and timely completion.
Support the client's travel program, including change management, employee education on travel policy content, and communications on travel related activities to the relevant stakeholders in the organization.
Support travel program onboarding and training activities related to new employees.
Supports the implementation of any new travel tools and processes within traveler operations.
Collaborates with client TMC to monitor agency performance, including customer service levels ensuring any improvement plans are implemented and managed.
Online Booking Tool Program Support
Liaises with online support team to review online configurations and settings.
Manages any direct relationship, administer configuration, and understand user navigational experiences.
Provides site messaging recommendations based on program needs and communicates product upgrades, functionality enhancements and issues to users.
Shares best practices around online adoption, providing communications and benchmark metrics and provides an ongoing online educational support to travelers/bookers.
Reporting & Data Analysis
Generate and analyze travel reports to assess travel spend, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
Participates as required in analysis of business reporting requirements.
Communications
Coordinate communications and best practices in executing tactical / operational travel management activities.
Key Accountabilities:
Build and maintain relationships across key travel user groups.
Research and resolve escalated travel related issues to ensure optimum customer satisfaction.
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and all TMC groups that support the client.
Promote the travel program, tools, and technology to support the clients KPI's.
Educate the travel users around the travel program, tools, and technology to support the clients KPI's and enhance efficiency.
Provide regular reporting and status updates to immediate stakeholder.
Deliver results by operating with a sense of urgency, employing effective time management to meet agreed deadlines.
Share best practices and insights from wider business consulting team.
What We're Looking For:
3+ years prior experience in business travel
Customer Service experience with focus on, process improvement and customer satisfaction
Understanding of travel data and overall travel related processes with ability to analyze spend and trends.
Experience in presenting travel data and providing recommendations for program improvements.
Confident in facilitating meetings both virtually and in person with both internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills both written and oral
Proficient with MS office 365 suite.
Ability to work independently.
Fluent in English, additional language skills are an advantage.
May be required to work some non-standard and/or flexible hours.
