Finance and Administration Department
We are seeking a keen and methodical Travel Assistant to join the Finance and Administration department on a permanent basis. This is a part-time role(28 hours/week) that will gradually be made full-time, and you will report to the Finance Manager.
Your duties will include the following:
- Support departmental representatives to book flights, hotels, and other travel requirements.
- Serve as the first point of contact for all travel inquiries from employees and visitors.
- Create robust arrangements with the travel agents for sourcing the most economical flights.
- Explore new travel agents' relationships and porting the system to a digital platform where Co2 emissions for travel can be tracked and reported vs the budget.
- Coordination with the core Finance team in clearing invoices.
You will require:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in MS Office (especially excel) and knowledge of automating reports using MS access or other databases.
- Knowledge of dealing with travel planning, including the ability to transform the travel booking onto a Digital platform.
- Multitasking and dealing with multiple stakeholders in driving the best customer experience.
- Have a flexible approach, responding to the changing nature of the IIS.
