Outsource UKs client are a global Bulk liquid storage and distribution firm, who are looking for a Trainee Operations Manager to join their team who have a Terminal site based in the Immingham area. This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody who is looking to take a step into a senior Operations focussed role in the future, you will be be provided with full support/training in order to grow into such a position.

Responsibilities include:

• To organise, optimise and co-ordinate the day to day operational activities carried out at the Terminal and to ensure that any risks identified in such activities are adequately controlled so far as is reasonably practicable.
• To deputise for the Operations Supervisor as required.
• To liaise with the Maintenance, Stock Control, Safety and Commercial Departments to ensure the efficient and effective co-ordination of Terminal activities.
• To communicate directly with customers to ensure that operational requirements are effectively/efficiently met.
• To ensure the effective documentation of all operational activities and the maintenance of appropriate records.
• To liaise with outside agencies, ie shipping agents, cargo surveyors, and HMRC officials, on all matters pertaining to product storage and handling.

Experience needed

• Previous commercial experience in Bulk Liquid Warehousing Operations/COMAH site
• Knowledge and understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental 'best practice' in a high hazard industrial setting.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid problem solving, decision making and analytical capabilities.
