As a Test Engineer (NFT), you will take ownership of the NFT life cycle, from requirement gathering and data preparation to test execution and result analysis. You will work closely with both technical and business stakeholders, translating complex test outcomes into meaningful insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience in using LoadRunner for real world testing simulations.
  • Lead and execute performance testing across multiple high-profile projects, ensuring systems meet scalability and reliability expectations.
  • Develop and implement NFT strategies, including performance testing, tuning, operational resilience, backup and recovery, monitoring, and alerting.
  • Design and execute performance tests using LoadRunner, simulating system load, ramp-up conditions, and identifying performance bottlenecks.
  • Own the end-to-end NFT life cycle, including requirement gathering, test script development, condition data setup, test execution, result analysis, and reporting.
  • Monitor and analyse system performance using tools such as DataDog, Splunk, and infrastructure monitoring solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, business stakeholders, and operational teams, to ensure test coverage and system stability.
  • Provide clear and concise summaries of test results, explaining technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute to Agile planning, ensuring NFT is integrated within quarterly PI planning cycles.

Key Accountabilities, Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive experience in Non-Functional Testing (NFT), including performance, scalability, and resilience testing in complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong technical expertise in LoadRunner (including Scripting, execution, and result analysis)
  • Experience with performance monitoring tools such as DataDog, Splunk, and other infrastructure monitoring solutions.
  • Proven ability to analyse complex performance test results, identify issues, and provide meaningful insights and recommendations.
  • Experience in test automation and Scripting, with strong coding skills to create reusable test scripts.
  • Understanding of Agile frameworks and experience working within Agile delivery teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical results in a clear and concise manner.
  • Background in financial services is preferred but not essential.
