My client have an exciting and fantastic opportunity for a manual Test Analyst to work as part of their IT team.

You will be a manual tester with manual, API testing and SQL experience.

This is a great opportunity to work alongside the Head of Testing and a small team to setup the testing capability for the organisation and help put the frameworks, processes and systems in place to enable the business to grow.

You will be the second Test Analyst hire for the organisation and you will have a great opportunity to progress as the team gets bigger, you will be involved in putting forward suggestions and have decision making capabilities alongside the team.

You will be a Test Analyst who is analytical, evaluative and has excellent problem solving abilities. You also need to be a great communicator as a key part of this role is being able to explain the information to both those in the IT and across the business.

Essential;

• Experience of working with case or workflow management systems in a professional services environment.
• Experience in API testing and web application development environments.
• Ability to effectively prioritise and take responsibility for tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong documentation and process driven characteristics
• Ability to be a team player and adhere to team standards.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL server.
• Good communication skills, as understanding and clarification of requirements will be an essential.
• Track record of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of the foundations of an agile software development life cycle.
• Use of Jira or DevOps tools to help prioritisation of tasks and time management.
• An understanding of MS Office applications.

Highly Desirable;

• ISTQB qualification.
• Experience of working in the property law sector.
• Experience of working in an Agile environment.
• Experience of working with API tools such as postman.

The role is remote with occasional travel to the office in Northampton.
