Technical Writer - Risk

Looking for Technical Writer for one of our clients based in London.

Type: Hybrid (some presence will be required in the Triton Sq. Offices in London)

Job Overview:
Following a Risk Architecture review undertaken by an external advisor and sponsored by CRO in 2024, which focused on key area of importance for the PRA, a number of observations were provided and signed off. This project will tackle and implement these recommendations and requires a temporary resource to do so: 

Key Responsibilities:
Technical writer to review the full population of internal documentation (framework, model, policies and procedures) for the London Branch (SLB) Risk Diision, as well as RAC and Compliance 2nd LoD
Valiate the overall Internal Documentation tree (relationship among the various documents),; Review and amend each type of document to have the correct structure and adequate granularity so its overall purpose is effectively met;
Write the various documents in a succinct and clear manner that avoids ambiguity; Summarise any divergence from Group documents in a specific section in each document; Identify and summarise the key tangible deliverables for each specific function (1st, 2nd and/or 3rd) in a specific section in each document
Support the various teams in the identification of the various regulations which directly impact the SLB Risk Division internal documents.
Support the various teams to design a plan to inform and train the teams impacted by the content of a document.

Required Experience
Solid experience as a technical writer in the financial services industry.
A solid understanding of risk management (markets, structure & liquidity, credit and Non Financial Risk);
Past experience in investment banking roles even if not related with a technical writer one.
