Job Description: We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to join the Payments Accounting Projects team to:

• Provide structure and predictability to our Accounting and Data Analytics teams working on various Fintech projects.

• Bring long-term transformational projects to fruition.

• Function as a bidirectional translation layer between business and technical disciplines, ensuring alignment between business expectations and technical feasibility.

Responsibilities:

• Own and lead cross-team complex technical programs either independently or co-leading with other technical program managers.

• Improve end-to-end data management, transmission, and reporting related (but not limited) to Accounting and pay-in/pay-out processes.

• Define, analyze, and document requirements to identify the correct solutions.

• Define scope objectives, analyze, evaluate, refine, and review processes to ensure scalability and practicality.

• Collaborate with other (Technical) Program Managers and Engineering Teams across the company.

• Serve as a strategic technical advisor for the Accounting team.

• Ensure the overall system architecture for Accounting is fit-for-purpose.

Key Duties:

• Collaborate with various teams across the business, including product & engineering teams, to enable the launch of new products, features, and programs with a focus on accounting flows and financial reporting.

• Participate in project discovery, gather & document business requirements, write detailed functional specifications, and user acceptance testing specifications.

• Ensure the technical design will deliver on the business requirements in an efficient and scalable manner.

• Identify and drive resolution for dependencies and risks to delivery of accounting specifications, providing escalation management where necessary.

• Provide program transparency through predictable, proactive reporting tailored to the appropriate audience (Senior LT, Engineering Teams, and stakeholders).

• Proactively identify ways to improve processes and capabilities to ensure compliance, efficiency, and up-to-date standards.

• Ensure projects are aligned with all applicable rules and regulations (eg, SOX, business control framework, payment regulations, tax requirements) through collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

• Provide technical advice to Accounting teams to support system and application evaluations.

• Enable continuous improvement in Accounting and Payments architecture in line with company strategies, product roadmap, and technological developments.

• Build strong relationships within Global Accounting (operational BAU, project & data analytics teams), Financial Systems, Fintech product teams, and various business units (accommodation, flights, attractions).

Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant work experience, including technical project or program management experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Accounting & Payments knowledge (preferred).

• Experience with Jira (preferred).

• Experience supporting technical decisions and collaborating closely with developers/engineering teams.

• Proven experience using a range of lean/agile project/program management methods.

• Proven ability to balance multiple priorities and resolve ambiguity.

• Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills at all levels of an organization.

• Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, and influencing skills.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently toward established goals.

• Ability to understand multiple technologies.
