Job Description
️ TECHNICAL PRODUCTS AND SERVICES MANAGER
Hours: 35 hours per week
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
Salary: £60,000 per annum dependant on experience
Location: Norwich
This role is a UK based role and any hybrid/remote work must also be within the UK.
For this role, you need 5mpbs upload and 15mpbs download internet speed

Demonstrable experience in technical product management, technical writing, or project management, with a focus on consumer products and services.
Deep knowledge of both Logical (software) and Physical (hardware) product development processes, with a strong focus on systems integration and lifecycle management.
Experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with diverse departments such as Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing.
Familiarity with UI/UX principles and how they apply to product development.
Experience with post-launch product management, including returns, updates, and maintenance.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Product Management, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Strong technical writing skills with experience in developing detailed technical specifications and product requirements for development teams.
THE ROLE
As our Technical Product and Services Development Manager, you'll be at the forefront of designing and developing cutting-edge products that will delight our customers. This dynamic role is perfect for someone who loves diving into the technical details and bringing new products to life.
Innovate and Create: Lead the technical design and development of new consumer products and services.
Craft Detailed Specifications: Write comprehensive technical specifications for both logical (software) and physical products.
Logical Product Design: Develop data models, schemas, business logic (APIs, pseudocode, failure modes), UI/UX requirements, and communication protocols.
Physical Product Design: Focus on user-centered design, hardware specifications (MCU/FPGA, RAM, radio frequencies), firmware functionality, and ensure maintainability and repairability.
Ensure Quality and Feasibility: Identify failure modes, outline test criteria, manage feasibility assessments, and oversee the entire product lifecycle from development to delivery and support.
Drive Continuous Improvement: Enhance existing products and services to keep them at the cutting edge of technology.
