Technical Media Engineer

My media broadcasting client based in West London are urgently looking for a Technical Media Engineer to join the team on an initial 9 month contract for this Outside IR35 position.

The suitable Technical Media Broadcasting Support Engineer will be assisting the team with Rollouts, Migrations and general technical support across broadcasting media systems.

The Support Engineer will have extensive Playout support experience including being the technical bridge when it comes to Linear and Non Linear channel operations and resolving any issues.

Ensuring all testing and configuration of playout systems and playlist testing and media testing.

Working with the P/O graphics team across the world with Datamodelling and Structures for various events.

Working closely with sales and interfacing with clients to assist with analysis, implementation and testing.

Ensuring Data flow throughout the supply chain allows for linear and non-linear content.

The Media Engineer will help manage issues with data models, structures and segmentation of media.

Scripting experience, specifically with SQL and Powershell, VBScript or Python is also beneficial.
