Technical Manager

Technical Manager required for Residential Developer in North Wales

Hays Construction are delighted to be working with a Construction Developer & Contractor in North Wales, to support their recruitment for a Technical Manager to join their team
Reporting into the Senior Directors of the business, you'll be working within an experienced team of 3, and managing the technical function of their Construction business
You'll already have extensive experience either working as a Development Engineer, or a Technical Manager, and you will (ideally) have experience as a Civil Engineer

Managing design, external consultants, key stakeholders and site engineers is a key part of the job. You'll need to work to pre-construction programmes, understand technical studies and have fantastic knowledge of managing section agreements, incl 38, 278 & 184

Experience with SuDS is essential, and having a strong understanding of Building Regulations and planning applications are also required. You'll be fully proficient in Auto CAD & Microsoft Project, and be skilled in using relevant tech software
You'll have a solid background within the Residential / Development sector, and must have worked for a Main Contractor previously
The role is based in North East Wales, and typical sites are located across North Wales and North Shropshire. You must live within a sensible daily commutable distance of their Head Office
