Technical Architect

About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and DV Cleared Technical Architect with extensive experience in networking, cloud technologies, and bid management. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing robust technical solutions, ensuring they meet both client requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architectural Design:
  Develop and design comprehensive technical architectures for complex systems, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Networking:
  Design and implement advanced networking solutions, including LAN, WAN, and VPN configurations.
• Cloud Technologies:
  Lead the deployment and management of cloud-based solutions (eg, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
• Bid Management:
  Collaborate with the sales and bid teams to create compelling technical proposals, ensuring alignment with client needs and organisational capabilities.
• Security Compliance:
  Ensure all solutions comply with relevant security standards and regulations, particularly those related to DV clearance.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
  Work closely with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.
• Documentation:
  Produce detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and operational procedures.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve existing solutions and processes.

Qualifications:

• Security Clearance:
  DV (Developed Vetting) clearance is mandatory.
• Education:
  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
• Experience:
  Experience in technical architecture, with a strong focus on networking and cloud technologies.
• Technical Skills:
  Proficiency in networking protocols, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
• Bid Management:
  Proven experience in contributing to and managing technical aspects of bids and proposals.
• Soft Skills:
  Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
