  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday (09:30 - 18:00)

I am delighted to be recruiting on behalf of one of my clients who I have worked with several times.

We are seeking a professional and polite Team Administrator for a 12-month maternity cover to join a really lovely and friendly established team.

The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated team, providing top-notch secretarial support to both Head Office and Site-based staff.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Work collaboratively with a team of 6 Secretaries.
  • Deliver a first-class front of house service to visitors and staff, ensuring a warm welcome and efficient sign-in process.
  • Manage the switchboard, handling approximately 50 calls a day, and redirecting them as necessary.
  • Maintain a professional image at the front of house and ensure it is well-presented.
  • Provide refreshments for visitors and during board meetings.
  • Handle deliveries, informing the recipient promptly.
  • Manage meeting room bookings and diary schedules.
  • Coordinate courier services.
  • Process incoming and outgoing post with attention to detail.
  • Engage in typing, data entry, printing, photocopying, letter folding, and binding tasks.
  • Record, track, and prepare contracts, subcontract orders, warranties, and appointments.
  • Perform ad hoc duties as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Administration.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on professional and polite interactions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A reliable and helpful team member with a professional personal presentation.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and remain resourceful and proactive.
  • Active listening and record-keeping skills.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
