EdEx are working with a secondary school in the heart of Hounslow and they are on the hunt for passionate, bubbly graduates who can help students improve and progress in Biology as well as thrive in their GCSEs.

As exam term is approaching, they are needing graduates who have strong A-Level and degree grades in Biology to be able to successfully support students with the curriculum without struggle.

In this role, you will support students both inside and outside the classroom, providing assistance on a 1:1 and small group basis. This position also offers a salaried Teacher Training opportunity starting in September 2025, allowing you to train as a Biology teacher with no tuition fees while being paid.

• Teaching Assistant - Biology Focussed
• Supporting students with Biology KS3-KS5
• Assisting students with SEN needs such as ASD, ADHD and Dyslexia
• To support children in 1:1 and group settings
• Using creativity and imagination to engage the students for long periods of time
• To report back to lead teacher to update them on progress of each student
• Monday to Friday 8:30-4pm
• £105 - £110 per day
• ASAP Start for full academic year
• Located in Hounslow
• Full - Time, Long Term

The Perfect Candidate - Teaching Assistant - Biology Focussed

• A 2:1 or 1st Class degree in Biology or subjects involving Biology
• Strong GCSE and A-Level knowledge of curriculum
• Enthusiastic about Biology and supporting students
• Passion for working with SEN children
• Must be confident and outgoing
• Professional attitude and approach to work
