Location: Gosport
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: January 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Science to join a thriving 11-16 mixed academy in Gosport. As part of a wider trust, this position offers excellent prospects for professional growth and career advancement.

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to support all learners

Contribute to the department's curriculum development and improvement planning

Assess and track student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback

Maintain a positive learning environment that fosters scientific curiosity and academic excellence

The Ideal Candidate:

Holds or is working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Is degree educated in a relevant field and can demonstrate strong subject knowledge.

Shows commitment to raising student achievement and fostering a love for Science

Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Displays enthusiasm for ongoing professional development
