Teacher of Maths

Full or part-time option - 3 or 5 days per week

Due to an internal vacancy, a position has arisen for a supply teacher to join the Maths department of this popular, "Good" school.

As the current vacancy in the timetable is to cover lessons on Monday to Wednesday, the school are able to offer the option of these three days teaching your own timetable alone, or can include Thursdays and Fridays if you are happy to provide cover in other departments.

The classes you will be responsible for will be over KS3 & KS4 and will be a mixture of high-achieving students and also those classes who require additional support to achieve their potential.
The right candidate will also be interested in supporting the school in delivering small group break-out sessions to target students who require additional stretch or support interventions.

Essential criteria are:

• Fully qualified secondary teacher (QTS) in Maths
• Recent experience of delivering Maths lessons at secondary level in a UK secondary school

You will join an established and supportive department with significant expertise in the subject. The school's ethos is to value supply teachers as a full part of the staff and this post could last until possibly Easter 2025.
