Position: Teacher of ICT/Computer Science
Location: Barnsley
Contract Type: Fixed-term (Easter 2025 - July 2025, with potential extension to September 2025). The role is to be employed directly by the school.

Role Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of ICT/Computer Science to join our team. This is a fixed-term contract starting from Easter 2025 and lasting until July 2025, with the possibility of extending into September 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students, inspiring a love for technology and computer science.
Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality ICT/Computer Science lessons.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
• Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) ESSENTIAL
• Experience teaching ICT/Computer Science at secondary level in UK or to UK syllabus
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for technology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
