Location: Gosport
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: January 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and innovative Teacher of Business and IT to join a successful 11-18 mixed academy in Gosport. As part of a wider trust, this position offers excellent prospects for professional growth and career advancement.

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and challenging Business and IT lessons across Key Stages 3, and 4 (potentially KS5 in time)

Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to support all learners

Contribute to curriculum development and improvement planning for both subjects

Assess and track student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback

Maintain a positive learning environment that fosters entrepreneurial thinking and digital literacy

Prepare students for GCSE and A-level examinations in Business and IT

The Ideal Candidate:

Holds or is working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Is degree educated in a relevant subject area

Demonstrates strong subject knowledge in both Business and IT

Shows commitment to raising student achievement and inspiring future entrepreneurs and tech innovators

Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Displays enthusiasm for ongoing professional development
