Mission:

We are seeking a Financial Transactions & Payments Consultant with expertise in SEPA compliance, transaction management using core banking systems (eg, Transact), and transaction performance monitoring. The consultant will support our client's financial operations in Paris, ensuring seamless transaction workflows and adherence to regulatory standards. This is a functional role with a technical focus on overseeing high-volume transactions and monitoring system performance.

Technical Proficiencies:

Transaction Management: Oversee high-volume financial transactions, utilizing core banking systems to maintain accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

SEPA Compliance: Ensure that all payment processing aligns with SEPA regulations, facilitating efficient Eurozone cross-border transactions.

System Interaction: Work with core transaction systems like Temenos Transact to manage workflows, configure basic settings, and troubleshoot operational issues.

Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key metrics, such as Transactions Per Hour (TPH), to ensure optimal transaction processing and meet service-level standards.

Operational Efficiency: Collaborate with finance and operations teams to identify process improvements, streamline workflows, and enhance overall transaction efficiency.

Desired Candidate Attributes:

Financial Operations Experience: Proven background in managing or consulting on high-volume financial transactions within the banking or payments sector.

Core Banking System Knowledge: Familiarity with systems like Temenos Transact or similar, enabling effective transaction management and configuration.

Regulatory Understanding: Strong knowledge of SEPA regulations and Eurozone payment standards.

Analytical Skills: Ability to monitor transaction metrics, including TPH, and take action to optimize system performance.

Language Proficiency: Fluent in French to facilitate clear communication with local teams and stakeholders.
