Systemic Family Psychotherapist

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Systemic Family Psychotherapist to join a team in Cheadle. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to work within a multidisciplinary setting, providing therapeutic support to individuals and families in need.

As a Systemic Family Psychotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of psychological and emotional issues within a family or systemic context. You will work closely with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to deliver personalized, evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide systemic therapy and psychotherapeutic support to individuals, families, and groups
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients and their family dynamics
• Develop and implement therapeutic treatment plans tailored to the needs of each family or individual
• Collaborate with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care
• Offer psychoeducation and guidance to families to improve communication and coping strategies
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records and documentation
• Provide support and supervision to junior staff and contribute to training initiatives
• Stay current with best practices and evidence-based therapeutic interventions in systemic therapy

Key Requirements:

• A recognized qualification in Systemic Family Psychotherapy (e.g., MSc, Doctorate, or equivalent)
• HCPC registration as a Systemic Family Psychotherapist (or equivalent professional body)
