Job Title: System Engineer
Location: near Zurich
We have a current opportunity for a System Engineer on a permanent and/or contract. The position will be based in Kemptthal, 15 minutes from Zurich. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of IT systems, ensuring their performance, reliability and scalability within their global operations.
- Manage and support the infrastructure related to Cloud environments, ensuring uptime, performance, and security.
- Handle VMware virtualization platforms, ensuring optimal resource utilization and performance.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Active Directory, including user account management, policies, and permissions.
- Oversee global governance of systems, ensuring compliance with internal standards and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integration and upgrades.
Skills required:
* At least 5 years experience as System Engineer
* Good experience in managing Cloud infrastructures
* Proven experience with VMware
* Deep understanding of Active Directory and its related components
* Experience in global governance and adherence to regulatory and organizational standards
* Good communication skills in German and English
