Sybase Engineer - Portuguese

Akkodis is partnering with a client in Spain for a new project.

They are looking for a Senior Sybase Engineer.

Duration: 12 months plus extension

Location: Remote with some travel to Spain or Portugal

Language: Spanish or Portuguese (English Optional)

Our client a big consultancy is looking for a Senior Sybase Engineer to join their team and support their end client in the Financial Services Industry.

Keypoints and description of role:

Description: Skilled in Sybase database administration and engineering.

• Proficient in database design, performance tuning, and implementing high-availability solutions. Hands-on experience with Sybase ASE (Adaptive Server Enterprise) and advanced troubleshooting in mission-critical environments

• Must have at least 4-5 years of experience working as a Sybase engineer.

• As per the RFP, one Senior Sybase Engineer is required, with an expected dedication of 1,200 hours throughout 2025.

• Must be either fluent Spanish or Portuguese Speakers and based in either Spain or in Portugal. Must have permanent residency or work permit.
