About The Role:
A mid-sized, contemporary furniture design company specialising in stylish and sustainable designs, supplying leading brands across the residential and commercial sectors, is seeking a Sustainability Manager to join their team in Central London.
Working closely with senior leadership and the wider team, you will play a pivotal role in conversations centred around sustainability with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders, ensuring that sustainability efforts are effectively communicated and implemented. As a certified B-Corp, the company is deeply committed to social responsibility and is therefore seeking a dedicated Sustainability Manager to further enhance their initiatives and ensure that their market presence reflects their core values.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse data related to sustainability initiatives, including supplier monitoring and carbon offset calculations
- Contribute to pitches and meetings focused on sustainability, offering insights and recommendations to enhance the company's services
- Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for further integrating sustainability into offerings, exploring new avenues for upholstery and product repurposing
- Prepare and implement questionnaires for suppliers to assess their sustainability practices and evaluate their performance
Key Skills/Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications in sustainability, with in-house experience preferred
- Strong foundation in ESG standards, ideally with knowledge of commercial property regulations
- Working knowledge of BREEAM, SCAR, and/or WELL standards, with an appreciation for integrating Social Values
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to collate and assess data effectively
- Confident communicator, capable of engaging with both clients and colleagues on sustainability topics
- Outgoing personality, complemented by a keen analytical mindset
