Integrated Front Door - Empowering Families, Protecting Futures

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to take on the role of Service Manager of the Integrated Front Door!

Within our Ofsted rated ' Outstanding ' Local Authority, our Support and Safeguarding Service works with some of the most vulnerable children in Wiltshire, including children in need, those in need of protection and involved in family proceedings, alongside a proportion of our looked-after children.

This role will have specific oversight of the Integrated Front Door, Early Help Hub, MASH (Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub), Local Authority Designated Officers For Allegations and will be our service champion and lead working in partnership with colleagues in the SEND service.

As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for supporting children, young people and their families to be healthy and resilient, and able to maximise their life chances and independence. You will work collaboratively as part of the senior leadership team to achieve the directorates aims and visions. This role will require the provision of strong leadership across the partnership, engaging with both internal and external partners, good communication skills are key. You will be responsible and accountable for operational and strategic practice within the service reporting into Performance and Outcomes Meetings.

You need to be a qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England, possessing significant post-qualification experience and previous experience as a Manager in children's safeguarding. You will have strong management skills, with a proven ability to develop projects and lead staff effectively and an ability to drive strong practice and performance. An extensive understanding of child protection and safeguarding processes is essential, including understanding of Early Help and SEND.
