Strategic Procurement Consultant

Our Blue Chip Utilities Client is looking for a Strategic Procurement Lead with a strong background in Telco/Telecommunications. The role will be 6 months initially and via an Umbrella company with 1/2 days onsite per week in Reading. Will be responsible for sourcing the supply of IT & Telco Services in accordance with all internal policies and procedures and external legislation, including Utilities Contract Regulations

Essential experience
. IT/Telecommunication procurement experience
. Proficient in contract knowledge and use of IT contracts including the authoring of terms.
. Excellent Stakeholder management.

Will need good Telco background and knowledge of major players - CISCO, HP. etc plus previous experience working with Cloud Providers or Telco Service Providers

Experience of Jaeger would be beneficial as would anyone with Utilities/Public Sector Regulations - sourcing could be £100k to 10m

Should have a good knowledge of WAN & Telco
