About the Role
Located on the High Street, this is one of our family of urban shops serving the diverse and vibrant community of Clapham. A large, busy, fast paced shop, it has a buzzing and energetic atmosphere for both customers and volunteers.
As Store Manager, you'll deliver the shops potential through the expert leadership of a strong diverse volunteer team, focusing on further recruitment to build a core team. With the added capacity of a Shop Support Manager, you will enable the shop's continued success, building strong connections within the local community and focusing on key areas of the business.
About You
You will be someone with exceptional people skills, a leader who understands the importance of community and enjoys supporting people to exercise similar passions through volunteering.
You'll bring:
- Proven experience of leading and motivating a team
- Ability to effectively manage challenges with a steady and positive approach
- Experience of working in a busy customer facing environment
Ways of Working: This role will be based on-site in the Clapham (SW London) shop. We're looking for someone able to work 5 days (35 hours) per week to include some weekend working.
