Sports Surface Line Markers

Smith Construction (Heckington) Ltd are looking to hire experienced and trainee line markers to join our team. You will be applying sports line markings on various surfaces including pitches, tennis courts & playgrounds. We are based in Heckington, Lincolnshire but operate throughout the UK so transport will be provided.

Duties:

• Operate line marking equipment, including paint machines and other tools safely and efficiently
• Prepare surfaces for line marking including cleaning, priming & marking out
• Accurately applying various types of line markings, ensuring adherence to specifications
• Maintain equipment in good working order and highlight any defects
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Contribute to the efficient and timely completion of projects

Requirements:

• Previous experience in line marking or a related field is preferred but training will be provided
• Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Flexible and able to adapt quickly to changes
• Maintain a clean & safe working environment
• Be prepared to travel and work away from home, if required
• Driving licence, CSCS & DBS desirable
