Job Description

Software Engineer - Cheshire

Our Client is seeking an experienced Web Application Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in Back End development using C# and .NET Core, along with experience in SQL Azure. An interest in modern Front End technologies is a plus, as you'll be working on creating intuitive and engaging user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain web applications using C#, .NET Core, and SQL Azure.

  • Implement responsive and modern UI designs using frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js.

  • Ensure high-quality code through unit testing, peer reviews, and performance optimization.

  • Leverage Azure services for cloud-based application deployment and management.

  • Troubleshoot, enhance, and refine existing applications to improve performance and user experience.

What We're Looking For:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant experience.

  • 3+ years of experience in web application development.

  • Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core.

  • Experience working with SQL Azure, including query writing and performance tuning.

  • Hands-on experience with at least one Front End framework (Angular, React, or Vue.js).

  • Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.

  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

  • Experience with version control systems like Git.

  • Knowledge of Azure services such as App Services, Functions, and Blob Storage.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with Blazor

  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and tools like Azure DevOps.

  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

  • Knowledge of authentication and security frameworks.
