We are looking for an experienced Social Media Director to join our Communications & Brand team from March to mid-November. You will take the reins of our global social media strategy, governance, and content activation, ensuring our presence across platforms is consistent, effective and impactful.
Your role
- Lead Strategy, Governance, and Management Oversee our global social media presence, ensuring brand consistency and impactful messaging across all platforms. Manage a sub-team of social media professionals and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation.
- Develop and implement a roadmap for our social media platforms, aligned with the broader Communications & Brand strategy. Ensure compliance with brand, security, and measurement standards across all social media activities.
- Manage external suppliers, contracts, and budgets to optimize resources and outcomes. Build capabilities
- Act as a social media trainer and advocate, equipping teams across the organization with tools, knowledge, and best practices.
- Establish and implement processes for account management, social media crises, and listening protocols to ensure effective and compliant operations.
- Roll out tools and governance structures to streamline global social media efforts.
- Drive Content and activation Collaborate with strategists to develop compelling, audience-centric content that amplifies our messaging.
- Activate our global earned presence through influencers, executives, and employees to maximize engagement.
- Lead the planning and execution of paid social media campaigns to ensure maximum ROI, leveraging analytics to refine strategies. Continuously innovate to enhance our reach and impact, both internally and externally.
- You will report to the Head of Digital Communications.

Functie-eisen- Proven expertise in leading social media strategies for global organizations.
- Experience managing both organic and paid social media campaigns, with a strong understanding of audience targeting, analytics, and optimization.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and fostering collaboration.
- Ability to balance creativity with governance and compliance requirements.
- A forward-thinking mindset, ready to explore and implement the latest trends in social media.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for developing others.
- Period: 3th March - 14th April
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Grade: CAO Philips - grade 80
