Site Reliability Engineer - NL - 6 months - Hybrid

Global Enterprise Partners is currently looking for a Dutch speaking Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) for an initial 6 months contract in The Hague, the Netherlands

Requirements & Responsibilities Site Reliability Engineer Role:

Requirements:

• 5+ years' experience as a Site Reliability, Operations or Software Engineer
• Experience with web server configuration, monitoring, trending, network design, high availability
• Practical, solid knowledge of Shell Scripting and at least one high-level language (Python or Ruby preferred)
• Expert level understanding of Linux Servers, specifically RHEL/CentOS
• Comfortable configuring DNS, DHCP, and LAN/WAN technologies
• Proficiency in a Scripting language

Responsibilities:

• Provide basic data administration and optimization, and monitoring
• Ensure UA Record can support massive, global user growth while achieving rigorous SLAs
• You will automate the server provisioning process to reduce the labor our networking engineering and datacenter operation teams
• Assist in the technology selection for core computing and software infrastructure along with data persistence
• Perform deep dives into both systemic and latent reliability issues

• Start date: ASAP
• Duration: Initially 6 months (with extensions)
• Hours per week: 40 hours
• Location: The Hague, NL (hybrid)
• Type of contract: Freelance
• Rate: Open - depending on experience
