Site Manager (Nuclear) - 6-Month Initial Contract - Inside IR35 - Reading - SC Cleared

VIQU have partnered with a leading consultancy who deliver critical projects in energy, water, renewables, and manufacturing, with this Site Manager role being part of the Nuclear team.

The role:

The successful Site Manager will oversee the delivery of Electrical Control Systems on a nuclear site. The successful candidate must be able to support the Engineers with installation, test, and commissioning activities, so a background in Electrical Engineering is paramount.

Key skills & responsibilities:

• Strong experience as a Site Manager within nuclear sector
• Background in electrical engineering/ECI & I, and ability to support electrical installation/test/commissioning activities
• Hold a valid Safety Passport
• Awareness of NEC3/4 contracts
• Nominated point of contact for Health & Safety, First Aid. Relevant certifications required (eg IOSH Managing Safely, First Aid at Work)
• CDM Training relevant to site
• Regular reporting & client liaison
• Good people management skills - this includes in-house teams and external suppliers
• SC Clearance
