Job Description

Site Auditor/Field Engineer (RAN sites, C2/C3 inspections, GOF4, AVIL/AVIP certified) Eu passport

Location: Belgium (North Region)
Length: 1 year +
ONSITE (WP, EU passport needed)
Self-employment & CAR needed

RATE: 65.000 - 70.000 euro Gross yearly (all inclusive)
plus 1.000 euro monthly to cover travel

For our client in Belgium, we need a Site Auditor/Field Engineer (self-employed) within the Field Service Organization to perform quality and site acceptance audits on Radio Sites

The role includes the acceptance of RAN sites to be transferred from Build to Operations (C2/C3 inspections), following the acceptance procedure, audit the sites, define deficiencies and collect/report the punches, based on defined criteria.

This position is a temporary assignment for external resource for a period of 1 year with an option to prolong the assignments.
The ideal candidate worked previously in Belgium or Europe on Orange and/or Telenet networks.

Region of assignment is North Region.

The scope includes working on ground level as well as working on height for Aerial Interventions which require climbing and rigging activities in towers and masts.

Responsibilities
Prepare the site audits by collecting the site documentation (As-Build, PIF, STC, etc) with the purpose to verify the reality at the site versus the design
Perform sites inspections for site acceptance for sites being transferred from Build to Operate (C2/C3 inspection), identifying deficiencies, reporting on punches and tracking.

Verify the site solution application done by our partners and site construction assuring it is in line with the design guide of customer and the installation guide.
Responsible for making the inspections visits in the field with partners looking about high quality standard that must be applied under the scope of the respective project and capable to make distinctions with existing deficiencies.
Verify the radio and electrical installations accuracy according to the AREI rules and installation guides
Verify aerials parts looking to antenna installation and cables, fibers fixations along the different infrastructure
Have the right coaching attitude with the partners on site when observing punches and target to raise the global level of quality delivered
Highlight about any quality/safety work issues.
Verify the different deliverables related to but not limited to site access, safety, design, Asbuild, upfront the site audit in order to be efficient on site.
Understand our partner challenges in the field and search about solution to better improve their efficiency looking to our enablers (eg.: tools) and process clarification/simplification

Report on quality delivered by partners to make sure structural issues are tackled/clarified with them for further sites. Pictures and information shall be collected and become part of the audit report accompanied with the punches
Depending on the readiness of the field engineer and when no inspections are planned, the field engineer will be integrated Field Operations and will receive Work Orders for corrective or preventive work on the customer's radio sites. Visiting the radio site within the required lead-time based on the Work Order assigned, execute the work as specified in the Work Order, updating the Work Order with the required information and close to Work Order accordingly.

Knowledge areas
- For this purpose, working on height and climbing in the tower is required and GOF4 certification is a must have.
- Minimum 5 years of Site Engineering/Site quality Audits on Network Roll Out Deployment - Excellent knowledge of telecom business.
- Multi Technology network equipment (Ericsson RAN, Ericsson micro-wave, IP, modems, fiber installations ).
- You shall have a good understanding of Health and Safety at Work and First Aid; sufficient understanding of regulations, policies and procedures, specifically access procedure for radio sites
- Be fluent in English in speaking, reading and writing. Understanding of Dutch or French written and oral work instructions is an asset
- Customer focused, problem solving attitude and result-oriented.
- Team Player, Analytical, Persuasive and user- friendly communicator
- Excellent organizational skills

Requirements
- GOF4 certified is a must to allow climbing in towers and masts.
- Elia AVIL/AVIP certified is a must/exams can be performed first weeks after the onboarding.
- Army clearance (Astrid) is an advantage.
- Driving license cat B and has own car or van with loading space to carry spare part, to drive to the sites within Belgium territory
- VCA certified.
- You shall possess own craftsman toolbox to solve issues on the spot
- You shall possess the required measurement instruments required for telecom works, which shall include fiber locater and fiber light detector. More expensive measurement instruments such as Site Master and fiber splicing tools will be provided by our Client
- You shall possess a full set of climbing gear for GOF4 which is periodically checked and recently approved by a certified body. This will be checked when starting the assignment.
- Our Client will foresee a laptop and the necessary software tools to connect to the network and IT environment.
- You shall have own mobile phone (Android or IOS based) with working SIM. The Mobile phone shall be capable to take clear pictures to be used for uploading in the databases. (Chinese brands are not allowed. )
- The person shall be 100% dedicated to this assignment, meaning s/he shall not have other occupations that are making him not available when needed.

- WFM software and other proprietary software and apps will be provided by Client
- Location: The candidate is supposed to work in the field in North Region. Central office is located in Zaventem.
- Working Time: 40 hours per week
