Job Description

Rainbow Mind North (a service provide by Mind in Salford) is looking for associate therapists to join our team.

Job Title: Sessional Therapist
Hours:
Up to 4 client hours per week.
Salary: £65 per therapy session (50 minute session and administrative tasks).
Contract: Part time, Sessional Therapist Engaged on a self-employed basis.
Location: Based at Rainbow Mind northern hub Mind in Salford, The Angel Centre, Salford. Hybrid working is appropriate for this role.

About the Employer

Rainbow Mind North (A service delivered by Mind in Salford) is an LGBTQIA+ led service delivering community mental health interventions across Salford. Rainbow Mind provides a range of innovative services for LGBTQIA+ people from Rainbow Mind southern (London) and northern(Salford) hubs. Rainbow Mind has collaborations and engagement with a diverse range of local and national LGBTQIA+ organisations that support cultural, gender, sexuality, and relationship diversity relevant services.

Purpose of the role:

We have recently been awarded a large grant from the Lottery community fund and we are expanding our one to one LGBTQIA+ service provision. This is a really exciting time to get involved.

We are creating a bespoke model of therapy for the LGBTQIA+ community and working with a local university to evaluate its impact. The basis of the model is humanistic with added tools and concepts aimed specifically at the LGBTQIA+ community. Full training will be provided to each therapist as an adjunct to their own modality.

We welcome therapists from a diverse range of backgrounds, including from across the spectrum of LGBTQIA+ sexual identities and gender expressions.

Closing date: Tuesday 11th February.
Interviews will be held on:
Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th of February.
