With 16 factories spread out over five countries, my client is one of the major players in the printing market in Europe. They produce books and printed documents for major publishing houses, large industrial groups and service companies.

They have a unique opportunity on offer to shape their Service Desk - If you are driven and looking to make your mark, this could be the role for you.

Your new role

As the Service Desk manager, you will provide services and support relating to existing standard applications and infrastructure, as well as managing and fulfilling requests for service. You will have the opportunity to build the service desk from scratch and have complete autonomy to implement and make changes. The role will require travel to site two days a week, and you will have flexibility with your working hours.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience growing and leading a team.
  • Set up projects, processes, portals, automation and reporting in JIRA.
  • ULM (Lucid, draw IO, Visio) - Not a must!
  • Looking for common trends in issues raised.
  • Triage process.
  • Document new and updated old run-books.
  • Manual processes and CR writing.
  • SQL - data updates.
  • Process management/workflow management.
