Service Delivery Manager Full time Nottingham - hybrid 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. up to £55,000

The purpose of the Service Delivery Manager role is to oversee all aspects of care coordination and on-call management, ensuring high-quality service delivery across all care packages. This includes managing the daily operations of care teams, optimising scheduling and resource allocation, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The role also involves analysing data to drive performance improvements, presenting findings to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), and conducting targeted reviews to identify areas for enhancement. A strong focus on client satisfaction, staff development, and continuous service improvement is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the team responsible for developing and managing package rotas, staffing allocations, and training/induction processes for new hires.
  • Provide oversight of service development activities, including attendance, absence management, staff support, and supervision.
  • Ensure the preparation of contingency and backup rotas at least 12 weeks in advance and allocate appropriately skilled staff.
  • Manage and monitor annual leave, ensuring minimal disruption to service delivery.
  • Oversee on-call operations, ensuring effective management and compliance with commissioned hours.
  • Ensure accuracy in ACP logging and alignment between hours delivered and hours commissioned.
  • Manage agency relationships and bookings, implementing reduction plans and seeking director approval as needed.
  • Demonstrate capabilities in complex care management, including all aspects of package management and team leadership.
  • Utilise People Planner software proficiently, perform data analysis, and present findings for performance management, targeted reviews, and Executive Leadership Team analysis.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proven experience in operational management within complex care, including all elements of package management.
  • Proficiency in People Planner and other care management software.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in data analysis.
  • Ability to present complex data clearly for performance management and executive review.
  • Experience in overseeing care coordination and on-call management within a health and social care setting.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
