Senior SQL Developer for Quantitative Risk Management project

We are looking for a Senior SQL developer for a Quantitative Risk Management project with our client in the banking sector.

Description of work task to be carried out:

Client is starting to build a new solution for resolution planning and various stress test regulatory reports. To enable this, the first step is to extract the data reconciled with balance sheet. The client needs consultants to support with data extraction from various databases in the bank, and integrating it as data feed to the new solution. The consultants are also expected to perform reconciliation against balance sheet, and present their findings and explain the residuals to stakeholders for decision making.

Description of knowledge and experience

Skills needed:

• SQL - Expert level Mandatory
• Problem solving skills - Expert level mandatory
• Genuine interest in working with huge volume of data.
• Banking Knowledge
• Accounting Experience or FINREP reporting experience.

Soft skills:

• Communication skills - Good level
• Presentation skills - Good level

Language: Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Location: Candidates will work in offices in Helsinki 2 days per week with 3 days per week remote work possible, candidates must already be living in Finland and ideally based in Helsinki.
