Senior Solution Architect - VMware & Azure

We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect - VMware & Azure for a 12 Months contract based in Bristol (Hybrid, 2-3 days per week in the office) on behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs

Purpose of the Role:

As Senior Solution Architect you will focus on networks and applications (VMware and Azure) to lead the delivery of critical IT enabled capabilities for the business, manage supplier relationships, and oversee the introduction of new services into live operations.

As a Senior Solution Architect - VMware & Azure you will be responsible for:

• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and integrated solutions that align with the Enterprise Architecture (EA) roadmap.
• Champion innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable design approaches to drive business value.
• Lead architectural designs for integrated solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, governance frameworks, and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship across third party development and integration teams to ensure consistency and quality.
• Engage with business and technology stakeholders to identify needs, set expectations, and establish solution designs that enhance user experience and meet strategic objectives.
• Foster strong partnerships with vendors, ensuring solutions align with enterprise goals and technical roadmaps.

What we require from the candidate:

• Must be hold or be capable of obtaining a Full UK SC Clearance.
• Experience of delivering projects within UK Government/Defence security classification.
• Demonstrable IT architecture experience.
• Strong experience in Cloud (Azure).
• On-premise deployment experience-VMware.
• Strong grasp architectural concept design.
