Job Title: Senior Software EngineerLocation: Remote Rare travel to HertfordshireSalary: £50,000 - £65,000Xpertise Recruitment are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join a market-leading organisation in the 'tech for good' space to help modernise their core applications. This role focuses on enhancing a customer-facing web application through innovative technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and support complex production changes.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to drive technical innovation.
• Improve engineering efficiency and processes.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers.

Desirable Skills:

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in in C#, .NET core, Entity Framework, and SQL.
• Excellent experience working in .Net environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Skilled in Git source control and RESTful API design.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and Agile methodologies.

Nice to have:

• Understanding of WinForms development.
• Knowledge of software architecture, containerization (Kubernetes), and cross-platform engineering.
• Lead experience or a strong desire to move in that direction.
