Senior Scientist - Immunology

CK Group are recruiting for an experienced Senior Scientist, with an cellular immunology and cancer biology background, to join a growing biotechnology company, based in London, on a permanent basis.

A global biotech company specialising within the field of immuno-oncology.

The Role:

This is a hands-on role and a great opportunity to contribute to the innovation of all aspects of the company s pipeline and platforms, and be involved in the design and execution of experiments in the areas of therapeutic antibody discovery and pre-clinical development. The successful candidate will also review and interpret translational data from external partners and being involved in other laboratory activities.

Your Background:

• PhD in biological/biochemical science, with experience across academia (post-doc) and/or the biotechnology industry (5 years+ for Senior Scientist level).
• Understanding of the biologic drug discovery, therapeutic antibodies and pre-clinical development process.
• Strong expertise in the field of Cancer Biology/ oncology / immuno-oncology.
• Technical skills in the following: flow cytometry, primary cells, mammalian tissue culture, cellular assays (e.g. ADCC/ADCP, cell binding assays).
• Data analysis expertise - some level of programming understanding i.e. R, Python.
