Location: Remote, with occasional visits to Edinburgh and Glasgow
Day rate: £400-450 per day
Standard hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

COMPANY
We are partnering with a large managed service provider who are delivering network services to their public sector customer in Scotland.

ROLE
This exciting Senior Project Manager role offers a delivery-orientated individual the opportunity to manage a long-term project from the outset, deploying SD-WAN and WiFi solutions. This Senior Project Manager role will best suit someone who has experience of delivering network solutions (SD-WAN experience is essential) and is comfortable managing budgets and suppliers. You will have other Project Managers reporting into you, but there is no line management responsibility.

RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS

• Managing the delivery of an SD-WAN project
• Customer facing role which requires a strong leader to engender trust
• Experience with high-profile network strategy
• Experience with upgrading BT Links, 4G connection delivery, SD-WAN Boxes
• Managing finances and suppliers
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Experience of working in Public Sector
• Project is currently in design phase/POC
• Strong Governance background
• ITIL & PRINCE2 ideally
• Experience with Snow/ServiceNow
• Substantial project management experience
• Background in networking nice to have
