Senior Product Designer

A specialist fintech company whos mission is to design and deliver exceptional enterprise SaaS financial data products that are user-focused and impactful. We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to take ownership of the product UI and drive continuous improvement through an iterative design process.

This role goes beyond simply creating Figma designs-it's about crafting intuitive navigation, straightforward workflows, and clear, user-friendly dashboards that elevate the overall experience for their users.

• Define research objectives, plan, and conduct user research using suitable tools and methods.
• Analyze user data to inform and guide design decisions.
• Collaborate with the team to manage and refine usage analytics.
• Expand and maintain a library of user personas to reflect diverse needs.

• Work collaboratively to brainstorm and develop creative design solutions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-quality UI components aligned with the design system.
• Continuously improve and maintain the design system and pattern library.
• Ensure designs meet accessibility standards (eg, WCAG) for all users.

• Partner with agile teams to refine and iterate designs throughout the development process.
• Contribute to go-to-market strategies by providing visually compelling design assets.
• Facilitate design workshops and validation exercises with team members and stakeholders.

• 4-6 years of experience in product design or a similar role.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe design tools.
• Hands-on experience with user research methods and tools like Miro or Confluence.
• Expertise in developing wireframes, prototypes, and polished designs.
• Proven ability to create and maintain UI style guides and pattern libraries.
• Strong communication skills to articulate design concepts effectively.
• Familiarity with designing to accessibility standards and working with engineers to implement them.
• Prior experience with financial or data-driven products is a plus but not required.

You enjoy collaborating with product managers and engineers to refine designs at every stage, from concept sketches to final UI elements. You value patience and persistence, understanding that not every design may proceed to development. Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences are essential. You thrive on solving complex problems with creativity and attention to detail, working well both independently and as part of a team.

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation of being in our Dublin office two days per week.
